ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Aurelia Earrings open on five petals in ombré blush-pink — pale at the tip, deepening toward a cluster of small beads at the centre — with a cascade of polished pink, lilac and white beads falling away beneath them.

Each petal is shaped by hand from resin worked while still malleable, then set onto hand-wound copper wire. The ombré is graded into the resin itself rather than painted across the surface, which is why the colour shift reads as depth instead of a line.

The cascade is what makes the pair move. The flower holds still at the top while the beads swing freely below, so light travels down the whole length every time you turn your head — and the deeper purple beads scattered among the pink keep the palette from reading as a single flat pink.
