ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Elena Earrings are built around a single butter yellow rose — petals layered outward from a golden centre, each one edged in fine gold wire, with a fine dusting of shimmer caught in the resin at the outer edges.

Every petal is shaped by hand from resin worked while still malleable, then wound into position one at a time. That is what gives the rose its depth: it opens outward in three dimensions instead of reading as a flat flower shape, and the layering is visible from any angle.

Beneath the bloom, glossy green leaves drop away in a small cascade. Above it, a slender sprig of pink and white blossom rises with tiny sage buds — an unexpected second flower, and the detail that stops the pair from being simply a yellow rose.
