ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Mehr Ear Cuff gathers a small mixed garden at the top of the ear — ivory and peach petals opening beside soft yellow and sky blue ones, round blue beads set between them, and long teal-green leaves dropping away beneath.

Each petal is shaped by hand from resin worked while still malleable, then outlined in fine rose gold wire and wound onto hand-drawn copper. The leaves are the detail worth looking at closely: deep teal shading to sage, veined and curved rather than flat, which is what gives the whole piece its depth.

Below the leaves, a fall of fine rose gold chain. The cuff hooks over the ear with no piercing needed, and because the florals sit at the top while the chains hang loose, you can sweep the cascade forward along the front of the ear or tuck it behind so only the chain shows. The same pair reads differently depending on the choice.
