ABOUT THIS PIECE

The Micaela Hair Accessory works in the softest colours we make — blush peach and ivory blooms, pastel blue petals opening between them, sage green leaves, and small bead clusters catching the light along fine golden wirework.

Each flower is shaped by hand from resin worked while still malleable, then set onto a slender copper pin. The petals are worked thin enough to stay translucent, so light passes through them rather than stopping at the surface — which is why the colour looks lit from within rather than painted on.

The pins are separate, and that is the point. Cluster them at the nape for weight on one side, space them along a braid so they read as a trail, or use two now and two for a different occasion. Nothing about the arrangement is decided for you.
